A Busy Biomarkers & Immuno US

We were thrilled to meet all of you who swung by Booth 19 and asked us how Imaging Mass Cytometry has become an established standard in high-plex imaging.

Standard BioTools™ was proud to be a Silver Sponsor at Biomarkers & Immuno US 2022 from October 3–4 in San Diego. The co-located conferences helped attendees gain insights into biomarker data and technologies as well as the development of cancer immunotherapy and brought together a panel of prominent leaders and scientists to share new case studies, innovative data and industry outlook.

We were thrilled to meet all of you who swung by Booth 19 and asked us how Imaging Mass Cytometry™ has become an established standard in high-plex imaging, empowering the detection of more than 40 markers in a single scan to help you make fast, informed decisions.

On October 3, Akil Merchant, Director of the Imaging Mass Cytometry Shared Resource and Associate Professor of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai’s Samuel Oschin Cancer Center, presented a workshop titled Spatially Resolved Single Cell Analysis of Lymphoma. Merchant discussed:

  • how single-cell spatial analysis reveals markers of therapeutic resistance in diffuse large B cell lymphoma
  • how molecular subtypes of lymphoma are associated with changes in tumor architecture
  • comparisons between immune checkpoint responsive and resistant lymphoma identify biomarkers associated with treatment response.

We were also excited to have a poster demonstrating the capability of the IMC™ and single-cell analysis workflow for assessing mouse tissue microenvironment. Standard BioTools analysis identified the expression pattern of cellular markers as well as the localization of immune, epithelial and stromal cell subpopulations, and demonstrated the broad applicability of our catalog antibodies on a variety of distinct mouse tissues.
