Overview

C1-RamDA-seq is a full-length total RNA sequencing method for understanding single-cell localites such as non-poly(A) RNAs, pre-mRNA and eRNA. This application will be valuable to researchers working rare cells such as in cancer biology, neurobiology and immune biology. As many biologically important cell types are rare and often found in heterogeneous cell populations, the accumulating evidence suggests there is an importance of gaining information at the full-length total RNA-seq level in single cells.

Performance

C1 RamDA-seq profiles detect 15,000 transcripts with recursive splicing in >300-kb introns and detect enhancer RNAs and their cell type-specific activity in mouse embryonic stem cells. C1-RamDA-seq demonstrates the dynamics of gene expression, RNA-processing events and transcriptional regulation in single cells.
