We invite early-career researchers to submit an abstract demonstrating how your CyTOF™ project is advancing the spatial biology or single-cell profiling field.

Up to six outstanding submissions will earn a slot to present their work as a talk at the 2nd European CyTOF Congress in Vienna, where you can showcase your groundbreaking insights to leading experts.

Each selected presenter will also receive the 2025 Standard BioTools™ Travel Grant of €500, which can be used toward attending the 2nd European CyTOF Congress or another scientific conference of your choice.

Terms and Conditions


RULES

Registrants must attend the 2nd European CyTOF Congress in Vienna and, for the selected winners, be prepared to present their work as a talk at the 2nd European CyTOF Congress or another scientific conference taking place before October 1, 2026. There is no purchase necessary to win. The entry period to submit an abstract demonstrating how the registrant’s CyTOF project is advancing the spatial biology or single-cell profiling field begins April 1, 2025, and ends September 5, 2025. Registrants may only enter the grant once and are limited to receiving only one Award.

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE

  • Entrant is 18 years of age or older; and
  • Entrant is located in an EEA country, in the United Kingdom or in Switzerland, and is employed by a life science entity established in the EEA country, in the United Kingdom or in Switzerland
  • Entrant is NOT an employee of or immediate family member (spouse, parents, siblings and children) or household member of an employee of Standard BioTools Inc. or its affiliates and subsidiaries; and
  • Entrant is NOT involved in any part of the administration and execution of this grant

AWARD

Earn a slot to present your work at the 2nd European CyTOF Congress in Vienna or any other life sciences meeting taking place before October 1, 2026

Six €500 travel grants will be awarded toward conference expenses (registration, travel and/or accommodation, whose booking and payment shall be made by Standard BioTools directly against the €500 travel grant) for the 2nd European CyTOF Congress or any life sciences meeting (taking place before October 1, 2026) where the CyTOF abstract submitted during the application has been re-submitted for a poster/talk. Taxes, if there are any, are the responsibility of the Award winners. The Award is not redeemable for cash and it is void if winner sells it for cash or other consideration.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

  1. Scientific innovation and impact
  2. Integration with spatial or single-cell analysis
  3. Data quality and analytical rigor
  4. Biological relevance and translational potential
  5. Clarity and quality of abstract

Winners will be notified via email on September 19, 2025. The winners will have one week to acknowledge and accept their Award before another winner is selected. Should the initial winners not be able to accept their Award, other winners will be selected and notified via email not later than October 3. The publication of the results will be made on the website and the agenda of the 2nd European CyTOF Congress (first name, last name, company/institution) will be displayed. ANY PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Standard BioTools privacy policy, and will be treated in accordance with the applicable data privacy laws. This grant will be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, United States, and any dispute related to this grant will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Massachusetts.
